Should I give up on Oliver if I KNOW that he’s just running scared?
I think that you can’t force things to happen, and I think that, right now, your situation with him can’t be healthy - you’re much too young to have to deal with that, and I don’t know if he’s running scared so much as trying to protect you (though he should have thought about that before he involved himself with you). Ultimately, however, you’re going to make your own decision, despite what I, or your other friends say, and though I, and your other friends, may not agree with whatever decision you choose to make, I know that they rallied around me when my heart was broken, and were there through the constant stupid decisions I made (and am making a conscientious effort to stop making), and they (and I) will be there for you whatever the outcome is.
